Comprehensive Exam
Your initial exam will last between 45mins to 1.15hr depending on procedures completed. During this time, your doctor will perform a comprehensive evaluation of your oral health, which in most cases will also include a teeth cleaning.
To ensure a thorough assessment, we require up-to-date dental X-rays. These images allow your doctor to identify issues such as tooth decay, periodontal disease, jaw problems, and signs of oral cancer. If you have had a panoramic or full mouth series of X-rays within the past 5 years, or bitewing X-rays within the past year, please email them to us. If you do not have current X-rays or the X-rays you send are illegible, we will take them during your first visit.
Following the exam, your doctor will provide a comprehensive evaluation outlining any dental problems and proposed treatment options. We encourage you to ask any questions you may have during your appointment. We are committed to addressing your concerns and ensuring your comfort!
Open Communication
At our practice, we believe that open communication is the foundation of good dental care. We are committed to being transparent with you about your diagnosis, recommended treatments, any available alternatives, and any symptoms that may require a specialist's attention. We encourage you to ask questions and share any concerns you may have. Our goal is to ensure that you fully understand and feel comfortable with your diagnosis and treatment plan. By working together, we can build a strong partnership focused on keeping your smile beautiful and your oral health optimal!
